Candlestick patterns are part of candlestick chart because they are candlesticks but among candlesticks, their are recognizable groups or patterns of candlesticks that can be used to predict the next direction of the market. A very good bearish engulfing pattern will have very little or no lower wick shadow. Tweezer top candlestick pattern is a reversal pattern that usually appear after an extended uptrend. The signal it gives is that reversal will soon take place.
